The 51st Daytona Turkey Run, the largest combined classic car show and swap meet in the United States, will be in the infield at Daytona International Speedway. 

Four days of family fun kicks off on Thanksgiving Day. The annual Daytona Turkey Run is a car enthusiasts dream held each Thanksgiving weekend at the "World Center of Racing."  

Known as the “Best Show on H2O,” the Seminal Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade offers a unique holiday experience. Escape the cold and soak up some sun at this South Florida holiday season kickoff. Watch the aquatic parade of boats of all sizes navigate a 12-mile route along Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway. 

The 34th Annual American Sand Sculpting Championship on Fort Myers Beach promises to be an extraordinary event, showcasing the incredible talents of World Class Master Sand Sculptors. 

With the addition of the Advanced Amateur State Championship and an Amateur contest, it offers a unique opportunity for artists of different skill levels to demonstrate their creativity. The event is not just about the competition; it’s a celebration of art, community, and family fun.

The Caribbean Moonshine Distillery Tours take place at Orlando’s Vineland Premium Outlet Mall, 8200 Vineland Avenue and features the New 1650 Spiced rum – a new spirit featuring a rich combination of nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon delivering a smooth and aromatic taste that is perfect, straight, or mixed.

The Nutcracker brings a fantasy world brought to life through the eyes of Clara and her Nutcracker prince with dancing snowflakes, sugar plums, and an exhilarating battle against the Mouse King. Presented by Orlando Ballet.  Tickets start at $39usd to either performance. 

Thanksgiving Thursday, may be the time for turkey, but that weekend, Santa Claus is coming to town! Beach Home for the Holidays waves goodbye to fall and sets the stage for the most magical month of the year. Aaron Bessant Park serves as the site of carol-themed concerts, s'mores, Christmas tree lighting, an appearance by Santa, and activities for the kids.

Celebrate New Year's Eve on the beach! A family-friendly countdown at 8pm culminates with fireworks, live music and 10,000 beach balls being dropped over the crowd. As the seconds tick down to midnight, thousands watch the Celebration Tower as a glowing beach ball descends to signify the start of a New Year and kicks off a second round of fireworks!

Each December, the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding qualify to compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. 

During the 10 days of competition, the Wrangler NFR transforms the look and feel of the "Entertainment Capital of the World." Thousands of rodeo enthusiasts decked out in Wrangler jeans, Justin boots and cowboy hats fill hotels, casinos, restaurants, shopping malls and showrooms. In addition, hotel marquees are splashed with the names of the brightest stars in country music.

There’s no better place to usher in the magic of the holiday season than with a month-long celebration in Virginia City. Lasting the entire month of December, the historic Nevada mining town’s Christmas on the Comstock brings a Victorian-era holiday celebration alive with special events happening all over town. 

From the official Christmas tree lighting to live music, holiday saloon crawls, historic train rides, local craft fairs, and a visit from Santa Claus himself, be sure Christmas on the Comstock is on your December to-do list. The Alkantara Festival presents an international programme of theatre, dance and other performing arts – as well as talks about the artistic practices in contemporary society at various venues around the city. 

Noiva e o Boa Noite Cinderela by Brazilian artist Carolina Bianchi will open the festival. This is followed by 52blue by dance, theatre and performance artist Francisco Thiago Cavalcanti. There will also be several other shows, including the Hatched Ensemble by Mamela Nyamza, a South African choreographer performing for the first time in Portugal, at the São Luiz Teatro Municipal.

Lisboa will welcome 2025 with music, entertainment and a big party. The city celebrates another New Year in the open air in one of the city’s most iconic squares beside the river Tejo, in what promises to be an unforgettable night.

In addition to the concerts and the party atmosphere that will invade the Terreiro do Paço, the night will feature a spectacular fireworks display that follows the countdown to midnight.  Free entry.

Winter Wonderland at The Beach is back - and bigger, brighter & beach-ier than ever before. This year, the event will start on Black Friday and run through New Year's Day 2025. Winter Wonderland Lights will be displayed nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. so you and your family can soak in the holiday cheer while hearing the sounds of crashing waves and jingle bells.

See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights.  From 4 - 9 p.m. walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of holiday music, and celebrate the season with family and friends!

Mark your calendar now to join the fun and festivities at the Lighted Boat Parade and Drone Snow! Watch the night sky come to life with holiday-decorated boats parading in the City Marina followed by the 2nd annual Holiday Drone Show. Spectators are encouraged to watch from Port Aransas Fisherman's Wharf, where there will be live holiday music, photo ops, holiday beverages, SANTA and more! The show will also be viewable from anywhere along the marina.
